A 21-year-old New Brunswicker is going through weapons fees after an assault in Shippigan earlier this week.
RCMP say that round 11 p.m. on Tuesday, an assault occurred exterior of a restaurant on J-D Gauthier Boulevard.
“Upon arriving on the scene, police situated two victims affected by stab wounds,” learn the discharge.
One of many victims was a 41-year-old man who was taken to the hospital with what police name “critical however non-life threatening accidents,” whereas a second sufferer, additionally a 41-year-old man, sustained minor accidents.
Later that night, police recognized and arrested a suspect, a 21-year-old man from Six Roads, N.B.
The following day, Jason Wayne Mcmahon appeared in courtroom and was charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
He’s set to return to courtroom on Aug. 22 to face the costs.
