4 employees had been killed and 20 had been injured after hearth scorched a chemical manufacturing facility in Gujarat’s Surat metropolis, the police stated on Sunday, ANI reported.
The hearth began after a chemical container exploded on the Anupam Rasayan firm within the Sachin Gujarat Industrial Growth Company space, Surat Chief Hearth Officer Basant Pareek stated, reported PTI.

“A charred physique was discovered within the manufacturing facility at night time, whereas the our bodies of three different lacking employees had been discovered within the manufacturing facility premises on Sunday,” Police Inspector DV Baldaniya stated.
Fifteen hearth tenders had been despatched to the location after the blaze was reported on Saturday night time. The hearth was introduced beneath management in two hours, Pareek added.
In a press release, the Anupam Rasayan firm stated that the reason for the fireplace is being investigated. “We try to evaluate the harm and can take applicable actions to operationalise the plant shortly,” it added. “Additionally, we’re coated for the lack of property and lack of income beneath insurance coverage.”
