Paul McCartney took to Instagram Thursday to share that his brother-in-law and shut buddy, John Eastman, had died on the age of 83.

McCartney, 80, and Eastman have been in one another’s lives 50 years, not solely as in-laws, however as colleagues and mates. Eastman was McCartney’s lawyer throughout the Beatles’ breakup.
