OPP investigating after two deadly collisions

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating two deadly collisions that occurred on Friday.

Shortly after 2 p.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry officers went to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Entrance Road in North Stormont. The driving force, Vincent Ahead, 26, of Chesterville, was pronounced useless on the scene.

Earlier Friday, at about 4:45 a.m., officers from the Grenville County detachment, together with Leeds and Grenville Emergency Companies, responded to a two-vehicle incident involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger automobile on the Freeway 416 on-ramp in Edwardsburgh-Cardinal Township.

The driving force of the automobile, who was not recognized, was pronounced useless on the scene.
