Bélen de Area, The Sand Nativity Scene on Las Canteras Seashore
Gran Canaria’s largest nativity sculpture, the sand artwork Belén de Area 2022-20223 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The opening hours are 10:00-22:00 day-after-day, besides 24 and 31 December and 5 January, the closing time is 20:00.
This is without doubt one of the most important seasonal points of interest within the capital, and for the island, and is open till January 9, 2023.
The seventeenth Belén de Area brings collectively the expertise of 9 worldwide sand sculptors. Sculptors from Ukraine, Russia, Spain, Canada, america, Latvia and Eire who mannequin a most iconic set of sculptures for Christmas on Gran Canaria.
9-10 December ♦ Beefeater London Xmas Market
The Beefeater Christmas market, with an English accent, is in Mesa y López till Saturday.
The Xmas Market takes place on the boulevard closest to Plaza de España providing stay music, a DJ, artisan stalls, Christmas decorations, foods and drinks stalls, leisure, surprises and raffles. It’s with Free entry however capability is restricted.
