Assam Congress common secretary Kamrul Islam Choudhury on Sunday resigned from the social gathering, terming the state management ”directionless and confused”. Choudhury introduced his resignation in a letter to All India Congress Committee President Sonial Gandhi.
”… The current instability of Congress social gathering in Assam as a result of directionless and confused management of APCC throughout the previous few months has left no cause for me to proceed as a member of INC,” he stated. Choudhury additionally alleged that no motion has been taken in opposition to these MLAs who had cross-voted throughout the not too long ago held presidential election regardless of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee Bhupen Kumar Borah publicly accepting it.
