Benimassot evacuated as Vall d’Ebo fireplace strikes in


The residents of the city be part of the 1,200 individuals already evacuated evicted from the environment and from the cities of Tollos, Famorca, Fageca, Beniaia and the Vall d’Alcalà

The emergency personnel engaged on the Vall d’Ebo forest fireplace have begun this Tuesday to evacuate of the municipality of Benimassot because of the evolution of the fireplace, as reported by the Emergency Coordination Heart of the Generalitat. The residents of the city are added to the 1,200 individuals already moved out of different cities and villages within the space together with Tollos, Famorca, Fageca, Beniaia and LaVall d’Alcalà.

There are presently 22 aerial sources concerned within the fireplace, eight of them from the Valencian Neighborhood (Generalitat and Alicante Fireplace Brigade Consortium), 11 from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Problem, three from the Prevention and Extinction Service of Forest Fires of the Authorities of Castilla-La Mancha, based on data from GVA 112.

The “erratic” winds proceed to complicate the extinction of the Vall d’Ebo forest fireplace, though the climate forecast is that this Tuesday night the ocean breeze and the west wind and can present better humidity.
