On Thursday the first September Carp-R-Us restarted its Summer time/Autumn Sequence with Spherical 8 at El Bosquet. This was gained by Ian Brown (36.04kg from peg 3), with Ken Wilcock second (23.68kg, peg B1), third Alan Smith (15.50kg) and fourth Nick Bastock (14.88kg)
This week, eighth September the membership fished Spherical 9 at Nancys. This venue all the time causes complications as it is extremely common with native fisherman and it’s inconceivable to order pegs, so the standard plan is to reach at daybreak for a stroll off, hopefully earlier than anybody else arrives.
Sadly, by 0715, when it was simply getting gentle, three of the pegs we might usually fish had already been taken. Thankfully, there have been nonetheless sufficient pegs accessible for these fishing, however we have been extra unfold out than we might have preferred.
It was one other sizzling day, and the venue had movement and loads of fish have been displaying. Nonetheless, though everybody caught, the fishing was not nice. Winner on the day was Steve Fell who had 3.24kg caught on pole feeder with wafters or pole with bread. Second was membership stalwart Terry Display screen who had 24 small fish for 3.09kg caught on pole and bread. Third was Jeremy Fardoe with 2.64kg (it will have been extra if he had weighed all his fish and never left two in his internet), once more fishing pole and bread. Fourth was Roy Dainty with 0.78Kg.
