Comic Derrick Keener is performing in Paris throughout an off-date of his nationwide tour with comic Jimmy O. Yang of “Loopy Wealthy Asians” and HBO’s “Silicon Valley.”
Described as an “energetic and egdy comic,” he’s showing at 8 p.m. Saturday at Tower Metropolis Comedy, 12 First St. NE.
“Derrick’s comedy has a novel spin resulting from his life’s experiences as a pastor’s son, as soon as being homeless, and the adoption of his son,” in response to Tower Metropolis Comedy’s web site.
A local of Arkansas, Keener hosts “The Drive with Derrick Keener” day by day on Texarkana, Ark, radio station KTOY 104.7 FM.
