A police personnel was killed after terrorists threw a grenade within the Qaimoh space in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, stated police on Sunday.
The sufferer has been recognized as Tahir Khan, a resident of Poonch.
“A grenade incident was reported yesterday night time in Qaimoh Kulgam. On this terror incident, 01 police personnel specifically Tahir Khan R/O Mendhar, Poonch received injured. He was shifted to GMC hospital Anantnag for therapy the place he succumbed and attained martyrdom,” Kashmir Zone Police stated in a tweet.

On Saturday, a Central Reserve Police Pressure (CRPF) personnel was injured when terrorists threw a grenade at safety forces in Srinagar’s Eidgah locality of Jammu and Kashmir.
“One grenade was lobbed by terrorist(s) in direction of safety forces on Ali Jan highway, Eidgah. This triggered minor splinter accidents to 1 CRPF personnel,” the Srinagar police tweeted.
The grenade assaults got here days after the Indian Military foiled a suicide assault on an Indian Military base in Jammu and Kashmir through which two terrorists and three Military personnel have been killed in motion.
Subedar Rajendra Prasad, Rifleman Manoj Kumar and Rifleman Lakshmanan D have been the troopers who have been killed through the encounter on Thursday morning.
