Alfaz del Pi city corridor is to step up the monitoring of unlawful dumping of waste and hit the culprits with fines of as much as €1,500, the council introduced on Wednesday.
Councillor for residents’ safety, Toni Such mentioned it was completely unacceptable, particularly with two free recycling centres – one in Albir and one other in Alfaz – the place residents can take their undesirable objects freed from cost or, if too huge, prepare a free assortment service by calling the freephone quantity 900 102 952.
