Erdogan aide blames Paris unrest after capturing on PKK

A high aide to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday blamed avenue unrest that gripped Paris following the killing of three Kurds on outlawed PKK militants.

“That is PKK in France,” Erdogan’s international coverage adviser Ibrahim Kalin tweeted, posting pictures of overturned and burning vehicles in Paris.

“The identical terrorist organisation you help in Syria,” he wrote in obvious reference to the YPG.

The Kurdistan Staff’ Celebration (PKK) is designated as a terrorist organisation by Turkey and its Western allies.

Ankara has been feuding with the US and European powers about their help for Kurdish fighters within the Folks’s Safety Models (YPG), which it portrays because the Syrian offshoot of the PKK.

A supply near the case advised AFP that the gunman admitted to investigators that he was racist.

Among the individuals who joined the following protests chanted slogans mentioning the PKK.
