The European Fee introduced on Thursday it can prohibit entry to 87 susceptible marine ecosystems within the north-east Atlantic coasts of France, Eire, Portugal and Spain for deep-sea backside fisheries. “The full closure space corresponds to 16,419 km2 reserved for the safety of susceptible marine ecosystems beneath 400 meters,” stated setting commissioner Virginijus Sinkevičius. Fishing beneath a depth of 800 meters within the north-east Atlantic was banned in 2016.
