A small explosion and fireplace rocked the Hoover Dam in Nevada late Tuesday morning.

The Boulder Metropolis Hearth Division mentioned in a tweet that they had been headed to the dam, and had no extra info to report.

It’s unclear what induced the explosion and subsequent fireplace.

Video of the explosion confirmed fireplace and smoke rising from the 726-foot tall dam, which is located alongside the Colorado River on the border of Nevada and Arizona. Social media posts point out that the explosion passed off round 10.30am native time.

The historic dam, positioned about 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas, was constructed through the Nice Despair. About 7million vacationers go to the attraction annually, making it the most-visited dam on the earth.
