Firefighters clear scene at east-end lodge after ‘harmful’ fumes launched in pool cleansing incident

Ottawa Paramedics Service stated they handled six people on the scene, with three individuals taken to hospital with “gentle to average” signs of gasoline publicity.

The lodge was evacuated as a precaution. Firefighters used high-pressure followers to ventilate the world.

In a later message, the hearth servie two chemical substances, chlorine and muriatic acid, also referred to as hydrochloric acid, had been unintentionally blended collectively within the lodge.
