The British-born singer died “peacefully” at her ranch in Southern California on Monday morning, surrounded by household and associates.

Newton-John is finest recognized for her starring function within the 1978 movie Grease, during which she starred reverse John Travolta as Sandy.

In an announcement  posted to Instagram, her husband John Easterling wrote: “We ask that everybody please respect the household’s privateness throughout this very troublesome time.

“Olivia has been a logo of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast most cancers.

“Her therapeutic inspiration and pioneering expertise with plant medication continues with the Olivia Newton-John Basis Fund, devoted to researching plant medication and most cancers.”

Mr Easterling added that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Newton-John’s basis.

She is survived by her husband in addition to her daughter Chloe Lattanzi.
