Rebels combating authorities forces ‘prepared’ for African Union-led peace course of.
“Seize the chance for peace.” That’s the United Nations’ message to the Ethiopian authorities and rebels within the northern Tigray area.
Practically two years of conflict have displaced thousands and thousands of individuals and created a humanitarian disaster.
Now, fighters from the Tigray Folks’s Liberation Entrance say they’re open to a ceasefire and are prepared to simply accept an African Union-led peace course of, one thing they’ve dismissed up to now.
The Ethiopian authorities has not responded to the proposal.
