  • Turmeric powder / Manjal podi – 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder / Malli podi – 1 tblspn
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder – 1 tsp

Cooking Dal

 

Wash dal in plenty of water. Soak it for 30 minutes. Now drain it and add it to a pot and canopy it with water. Prepare dinner the dal for 20-30 minutes until it’s utterly cooked. At this level you’ll be able to modify the water stage. Now add in tamarind, jaggery and salt. Combine nicely.
