Metropolis continues to grapple with potholes
The heavy rains within the month of July has elevated the potholes menace within the metropolis, particularly within the western suburbs. In response to the BMC information, 16,000 potholes have been reported until July 21. Of those, 8,000 potholes have been reported in simply 18 days.
The best variety of potholes have been reported from Malad, Jogeshwari and Andheri. Within the final one month, 15,000 potholes have been crammed, stated the BMC official.
On Wednesday, a pair was apparently killed resulting from unhealthy roads on the stretch of the Western Categorical Freeway (WEH) in Borivali.
Activists lamented that the BMC isn’t maintaining with their assuances and solely these potholes are mounted for which they obtain complaints whereas residents wrestle.
