No. 6 A&M’s sport with Sam Houston suspended resulting from lightning


COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Saturday’s sport between Sam Houston and No. 6 Texas A&M has been suspended earlier than the beginning of the third quarter due to lightning within the space.

The suspension was introduced on the finish of halftime with the Aggies up 17-0. Neither workforce returned to the sector after halftime and a message was posted on the video boards telling followers that the sport was suspended and to hunt shelter.

Many within the crowd heeded the warning and left their seats, however 1000’s of followers remained within the stands because the sky darkened and a radar show of the approaching storm was proven on the video boards.
