Ontario police lay homicide cost in dying at Deer Lake First Nation


DEER LAKE FIRST NATION – Police say they’ve laid a first-degree homicide cost in a dying at Deer Lake First Nation

Provincial police says officers with the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service responded final weekend to a report of an individual in medical misery at a house within the northern Ontario First Nation.

They are saying police discovered a physique inside the house after they arrived, which was recognized as 37-year-old Lee Conroy Kakekagumick of Deer Lake First Nation.

Officers say a 35-year-old man from the First Nation was arrested and initially charged with aggravated assault.

They are saying that has now been upgraded to a cost of first-degree homicide.

Police are asking anybody with info to achieve out.
