Israel killed the second in charge of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group within the Gaza Strip throughout an air strike Friday on a residential constructing that killed no less than seven others and wounded greater than 40.

“We simply focused a senior commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group in Gaza. Taysir al-Jabari was liable for a number of terrorist assaults towards Israeli civilians,” Israel’s Protection Forces mentioned on Twitter.

Palestinian medical and safety sources in Gaza confirmed the dying of al-Jabari, chief of the armed wing of PIJ within the central and northern Gaza Strip and head of the unit liable for firing rockets at Israel.

*Giornalista -custode Il 4 maggio scorso Libero svelava e raccontava la mia storia in un articolo intitolato “Da giornalista a portinaio- La nuova vita di Giarrusso”- Una storia di riscatto e di coraggio. Non posso esimermi, quindi, a mia volta, dal provare a spiegare che cosa significa essere custode( mi piace di più questa definizione, il termine “portinaio” viene un po’ troppo usato da alcuni in tono dispregiativo), nella Milano d’agosto. Premetto che del supercondominio Castelfauchè, dove esercito la mia funzione di portiere, con portineria in Castelvetro 20, dal primo giugno 2015, non si può parlare come di un condominio normale. I numeri, d’altronde lo stanno a testimoniare: 5 numeri civici, 10 scale, 200 appartamenti, 370 persone, 10 esercizi commerciali di primo rilievo. Il tutto facente capo alla mia portineria.

 

 

Non male direi. In fase di assunzione mi period stato detto che si voleva da me un vero e proprio punto di riferimento. E se lo sei in periodo normale, a maggior ragione lo devi diventare nel mese di agosto. Ma sì, direte voi, advert agosto sarai lì a leggere i giornali e a fare le parole crociate. Tutt’ altro. Mi sembra di sentire le parole di Denis, il custode andato in pensione e a cui sono subentrato, quando, in occasione della mia assunzione, mi disse per incoraggiarmi: «Paolo, non preoccuparti, advert agosto non farai niente. Non succede mai nulla…». Peccato che a ferragosto del 2015, un nubifragio di rara potenza si abbattè su Milano. Quando mi presentai al lavoro, l’acqua scendeva dalle scale a piccoli torrenti, i vigili del fuoco mi dissero: «Meno male che è arrivato… Sono crollati due controsoffitti, danni al tetto. Occorre avvisare, mettere in contatto, coordinare». Un bel battesimo del fuoco, non c’è che dire. Anzi…dell’acqua! Ma non mi persi d’animo. Mi venne in aiuto la mia esperienza di coordinatore di redazione e, con orgoglio, coordinai con successo interventi, contatti e quant’ altro, imparando però l’importanza concreta della presenza del custode(o del portinaio se preferite) nella Milano d’agosto. Disastri del genere non ne sono pù successi negli anni a venire, advert agosto, ma portoni che non si chiudono più, serrature che si rompono, ascensori che si fermano, tubature che si rompono proprio nel mese delle vacanze(magari, per la legge di Murphy o di Fantozzi, nelle vicinanze di ferragosto), questo sì. E tu ci devi essere, non solo per risolvere operativamente il problema ma anche, se non soprattutto, per il senso psicologico di sicurezza che si legge negli occhi dei condomini, quando incroci il loro sguardo. Dopo qualche giorno di ferie, quest’ anno sono tornato il 18 luglio al lavoro, in portineria, proprio per essere presente nel mese di agosto. «Meno male che è tornato, signor Paolo» mi sono sentito dire da molti.

 

 

Non perché, sia chiaro, il sostituto abbia fatto male (ero sempre, comunque, in contatto con lui telefonicamente e sui social), ma perché è da 7 anni che sento la loro fiducia in me, in particolare da loro comunicata nel mese di agosto». Lo testimoniano anche le decine di chiavi di appartamenti che mi vengolo lasciate, da chi va in vacanza, per ogni evenienza (segno di enorme fiducia) e la moltitudine infinita di piante che, proprio advert agosto, mi vengono consegnate in giardino, per essere innaffiate. Immaginatevi un giardino advert elle: 70 metri da una parte e 70 dall’altra, da bagnare (quest’ anno, poi, con la siccità imperante!). E, advert agosto, poi, chi è solo, in particolare gli anziani, hanno bisogno di essere ascoltati e di sentirsi considerati con una chiacchierata in più: sul meteo, sul calcio, sulla politica, sul caldo… Come puoi tirarti indietro da questo importante ruolo sociale? Infatti aumento, se possibile, la disponibilità all’ascolto, la predisposizione al dialogo, nei confronti di chi entra in portineria proprio in cerca di una parola di conforto, di compagnìa, di serenità. Tutto ciò, districandomi tra i vari pacchi, le raccomandate e la posta in arrivo che, in un supercondominio, vi assicuro, non mancano mai, nemmeno advert agosto. Quest’ anno, inoltre, in questi giorni, si sta utimando il rifacimento delle facciate, iniziato nel dicembre 2021. Ecco allora il fare da “trait d’union” tra gli operai dell’impresa, i condomini e gli inquilini, cercando di ottemperare advert ogni esigenza(condizionatori da spostare e rimettere, piastrellature dei balconi da fare in assenza del proprietario, ecc.), stemperando le inevitabili tensioni dopo otto mesi di clausura. Ma non è pesante, mi chiederete voi, anche psicologicamente, l’agosto in portineria? Quando ti senti dire dai corrieri che vengono da te: «Ecco il custode numero uno di Milano», chiedi loro «Ma perché?» e ti rispondono «Perché hai un grande rispetto di tutti noi e sempre un sorriso da regalarci». Quando i tuoi condomini ti chiedono proprio adesso «Ma lei non avrebbe voglia di fare ancora il custode, qui, una volta raggiunta la pensione?» (1/5/2025 ndr). Ecco, quando senti tutto ciò, avverti la leggerezza nel cuore e ringrazi chi di dovere, perchè ti ha voluto come custode, in by way of Castelvetro 20.
