The annual stuffing drive at Downtown Meals Pantry is underway and the objective is a blessed and joyful Thanksgiving meal for all who want it.
“We’re grateful on the meals pantry for this unbelievable group which is so beneficiant to assist us present groceries to about 20% of Lamar County. To have fun Thanksgiving, we’re hoping to obtain 5,000 bins of stuffing to share with our clients for his or her vacation meal,” mentioned Govt Director Allan Hubbard.
The pantry helps on common 600 households per week in Lamar County. Donated stuffing bins can be distributed by way of their regular choice-style grocery retailer course of through the month of November.
