Police say a mom who was pushing her youngster’s pram by means of a busy park in Mitcham has been left traumatised after she was sexually assaulted twice by a person who requested for a joint selfie, forcibly kissed her, then pursued her in broad daylight.
Police allege the person approached the lady in Halliday Park on Mitcham Street about 4.30pm on Friday, January 6. The girl claims he requested for {a photograph} of himself after which a joint selfie earlier than he began kissing her. He then pursued her by means of the park earlier than allegedly assaulting her a second time.
The girl managed to take an image of the person police want to communicate to.

The girl was in a position to free herself after the second assault and lift the alarm. The alleged perpetrator is believed to have headed north as he walked away.
