Police officer hit by motorbike in Edmonton building zone Wednesday evening: EPS – Edmonton


A police officer was struck by a motorbike in Edmonton on Wednesday night.

Police stated the incident occurred round 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 14 within the space of Terwillegar Drive and 37 Avenue the place officers had arrange a visitors cease in a building zone.

In response to Edmonton Police Service, an officer was trying to direct a motorbike to tug over when he was hit. The offending car then fled the scene.

EMS transported the officer to hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.

The motorbike is described as a pink 2005-2006 Honda CBR 600RR with gold rims.

A serious collision workforce is investigating and is asking anybody who could have witnessed the collision or has data on the motorbike to contact Edmonton police.
