Valencia is combating two voracious wildfires – within the mountains of Alicante province, and close to the village of Bejís within the north of the area.
Regional president Ximo Puig revealed that fifty plane had been battling the blazes yesterday, with greater than 1,000 personnel combating the flames on the bottom, aided by the military’s UME army brigade.
He stated the operations had been hampered by very adversarial circumstances with altering winds and their precedence was to ‘assure the security of individuals’.
A complete of 1,500 folks have now been evacuated from villages within the Alicante mountains in an space to the south-west of Pego.
