‘Rushing’ Codzilla boat brought on Revere lady’s spinal accidents, lawsuit claims


BOSTON – A Revere lady is suing Boston Harbor Cruises over considered one of its hottest points of interest.

Codzilla boasts about its enjoyable, fast-paced and thrilling rides by way of the waters of Boston Harbor. However Elizabeth Maggiolo claims the 70-foot boat was going too quick and bought too near her boat, leaving her significantly injured.

The incident allegedly occurred three years in the past. Maggiolo says she and her husband had been on their 16-foot “Boston Whaler” when her husband all of the sudden advised her to hold on.

She mentioned that is when the Codzilla went zipping by “at extreme speeds” – inflicting a large wake that threw her into the air and left her with extreme spinal fractures.

“It’s clear that this boat is supposed to carry out for thrill-seekers at excessive speeds, however sadly the maneuvers made on the day in query brought on boaters in the identical space to be uncovered to unreasonable and sudden risks,” the lawsuit states.  

Maggiolo is accusing operators of negligence and is demanding a jury trial. Boston Harbor Cruises advised WBZ-TV it has no remark.
