  • Lemon Juice – 3 to 4 tbsp

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku – 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek Seeds / Vendayam / methi – ¼ tsp
  • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi – ¼ tsp
  • Curry leaves a sprig
  • Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tsp

  1. Wash, peel and slice maa inji. Put aside.
  2. Now take oil in a pan, add in mustard, fenugreek, asafoetida, curry leaves and blend properly.
  3. Add in chilli powder and turmeric powder and switch off the warmth. Combine properly and let it cool.
  4. Take it in a bowl. Add in salt and lemon juice. Combine properly and put aside.
  5. Add the cooled oil over it and blend properly.
  6. Switch this to a clear jar and let it steep for one or two day.
  7. Retailer it in fridge.
