The Supreme Courtroom immediately ordered that alleged ‘conman’ Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his spouse be moved from Tihar jail to Mandoli jail within the metropolis.
A bench of Justices SR Bhat and Sudhanshu Dhulia handed the order on a plea filed by Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his spouse alleging risk to their lives and searching for a switch to a jail exterior Delhi.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been jailed on expenses of extortion, cash laundering and dishonest a number of individuals.
“Having thought-about the supplies on the file and likewise having regard to the order made on June 17, 2022, this courtroom is of the opinion that by way of the assertion made by the respondent on June 23, 2022, the petitioners needs to be shifted to Mandoli jail. It’s accordingly ordered,” the bench mentioned.
