The Thane District Girls and Youngster Welfare Division have filed three separate instances towards pastor Rajkumar Yesudasan of Seawoods Church in Nerul for allegedly sexually abusing minor ladies who have been rescued from the church final month.
To this point, 4 instances have been registered towards pastor Yesudasan beneath POCSO for molestation and sexual abuse of minors.
Within the first week of August, Thane District Girls and Youngster Welfare Division rescued 45 kids from an ashram college being run illegally on the Bethel Gospel Charitable Belief Church in Seawoods Sector 48 in Navi Mumbai. All the youngsters are between the ages of three years and 18 years and have been stored in unhygienic rooms. The youngsters have been rescued and despatched to a kids’s house in Ulhasnagar.
Initially, a 14-year-old woman complained of molestation within the church, the place she was given shelter by the accused. Yesudasan was working the church illegally and had given shelter to minor ladies introduced in from completely different states.
The accused pastor, 50, is at the moment in judicial custody.
Throughout its latest operation, the Division of Girls and Youngster Welfare discovered and rescued two sisters aged 13 and 14, and one other 10-year-old woman who had complained of sexual abuse by the pastor on the pretext of serving to her.
On Friday, District Youngster Safety Officer Ramakrishna Reddy himself registered three separate instances of sexual abuse towards pastor Yesudasan on the NRI police station.
