TMC leaders use ‘threatening’ language as protests over corruption develop

Kolkata: As protests on the problem of corruption are on the rise in West Bengal, senior Trinamool Congress had been seen utilizing threatening language.

Addressing a programme, senior TMC chief and Lok Sabha MP Saugata Roy stated that those that will converse ‘towards’ TMC they are going to be skinned.

“We (TMC) have a public mandate until 2026. Those that will converse towards TMC will probably be skinned and footwear will probably be made with these skins. If anybody be it BJP, CPI (M) is heard saying that TMC is a thief then I’ll take such agency motion towards them that they are going to be pressured to get again of their occasion workplaces,” stated Ray.

TMC MLA Madan Mitra claimed that he’ll provide sticks and informed folks to be ready to slam those that malign TMC.

One other TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee and TMC MLA Asit Majumdar sharing the stage in a programme had been heard saying that those that will converse towards TMC, they must face ‘dire penalties’ and will probably be overwhelmed ‘blue and black’.

Educationist Amol Mukherjee stated that such an announcement from a professor-turned-politician Saugata Roy was “not anticipated”.

Educationist Nrisingha Prasad Bhaduri claimed that to counter the opposition’s “violent” comment, Roy had resorted to such an announcement.
