What to do on a clean weekend? Cycle from Torrox to Bristol? Effectively, that is what a younger man from Torrox did… taking a little bit longer than a weekend.
Enrique Atencia (21) who’s a 4th-year scholar, learning Engineering on the Universidad de Málaga, determined when the tutorial 12 months ended that he would purchase himself a bicycle, then he would set off for Bristol from Nerja.
He had purchased the bicycle second hand on Wallapop for 70 euros however he thought of it highway worthy sufficient to hawk off on the twenty third of June. 4-thousand, four-hundred kilometres and two months later, he arrived on the twenty fifth of August.
The route took him first to the Portuguese Algarve and from there, passing by means of Lisbon, Porto, Galicia, all alongside the northern coast and Irún the place he crossed into France.
