Turkish-Israeli ties will achieve new momentum, Erdogan tells Herzog



The Türkiye-Israel ties will achieve new momentum after the
appointment of ambassadors, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan instructed his
Israeli counterpart Isaac Herzog in a cellphone name Friday, Development reviews citing

The Turkish and Israeli presidents mentioned bilateral relations
and regional points over the cellphone and Erdogan expressed that
Ankara is in favor of growing cooperation and dialogue on the
foundation of respect for mutual sensitivities.

Mutually appointing ambassadors is “an vital step” towards
the optimistic growth of Türkiye-Israel relations, Erdogan
underlined.

In the meantime, Herzog stated on Twitter that he spoke with Erdogan on
the event of the restoration of full diplomatic relations, the
return of ambassadors and consuls-general, and resumption of
Israeli flights to Türkiye.

“We welcomed the event and expressed our hopes for future
progress,” he added.

Herzog additionally thanked Erdogan for his “vital contribution” to
the settlement for the export of grain from Ukraine and for his
current conferences with the presidents of Russia and Ukraine.

Earlier this week, Türkiye and Israel determined to totally restore
diplomatic ties, and reappoint ambassadors after over 4
years.
