Tzatziki is a greek sauce, which is generally served with grilled meats in greece. It’s made with a mix of thick and wealthy greek yogurt, garlic, cucumber and olive oil. A creamy and actually cooling sauce i might say. 

I made this few days again and served with my grilled rooster and it was yum..I had some leftover which i served with a pilaf rice which i made and it was yummy too. Hope you’ll give this a try to let me know the way it seems for you.

Elements for Tzatziki Sauce

  • Greek Yogurt or Hung Curd – 1 cup( Recipe right here)
  • Garlic – 1 clove grated
  • Cucumber – 1 medium measurement 
  • Lemon Zest – ½ tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves or Dill – 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • Salt to style
  • Pepper to style
  • Olive Oil – 1 tbsp to drizzle on prime

The best way to make Tzatziki Sauce

  1. Take hung curd, garlic, lemon zest and juice in a bowl and blend until creamy.
  2. Now peel cucumber, deseed them and grate them finely. Now squeeze out the juice from it and add to the yogurt. Combine nicely.
  3. Add in coriander leaves,salt and pepper. Combine nicely.
  4. Pour this in a bowl and drizzle the highest with some olive oil and serve.
