ROXBURY — A gaggle of volunteers spent Saturday at Clifford Park in Roxbury cleansing it up for youths and households.
In latest days, the park had been affected by used needles and different particles, making it unsafe for youths to play there.
The volunteer cleanup effort was spearheaded by Boston Metropolis Councilor At-Massive Erin Murphy.
“Very discouraged that their park shouldn’t be clear and protected to play safely,” stated Councilor Murphy.
