Wong’s response to UN report on persecution of Uyghurs shameful


The international affairs minister was outspoken about what she known as genocide when in opposition, however Labor has toned down its phrases.

Minutes earlier than her four-year time period was set to finish on August 31, UN human rights chief Michelle Bachelet lastly launched the company’s deeply disturbing report on China’s already well-documented human rights abuses of Uyghur and different Muslim ethnic minorities within the province of Xinjiang.
