WORCESTER – A brand new fleet of high-tech college buses will likely be rolling out of the Worcester Faculty District this fall.
The district ended its contract with Durham Faculty Companies and determined to take its bussing scenario in-house. Because of this, the district purchased new buses. They’re the one college buses within the state that function collision mitigation, lane help and velocity management.

“If you’re approaching a cease, and you do not brake, it may brake for you,” Assistant Director of Worcester Public Colleges Michael Freeman stated, “If you’re going above the velocity restrict, it will mechanically lower your velocity.”
