Emergency Data and Coordination Centres (CICU) obtained a name at 1:20.PM on Wednesday, July 28 to say an aged man had been pulled out of the water unconscious from the Acequion seashore in Torrevieja.
The CICU mobilised a SAMU ambulance to the scene. Seashore lifeguards had already carried out fundamental cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the swimmer, Diario Alicante confirmed on Thursday, July 28.
On arrival of the SAMU ambulance, the person was aware and the medical workforce handled him for the consequences of drowning.
Subsequently, the 78-year-old swimmer was taken to Torrevieja hospital within the superior life help ambulance.
Torrevieja is a coastal city and centre of tourism within the south of Alicante province in Costa Blanca, Spain. It’s located throughout the district of Vega Baja and has a inhabitants of 90,000 inhabitants.
