Thiruvananthapuram: The AICC on Wednesday rejected a bit of social gathering leaders’ demand that the electoral rolls for the Congress presidential polls be made public, saying it was an “in-house process” and any member can get its copy from any of the Pradesh Congress Committee places of work.
All India Congress Committee basic secretary (organisation) Ok C Venugopal, who was in Kerala to evaluation the preparations being made for the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra subsequent week, stated any social gathering member can examine the copy of the electoral rolls at any of the PCC places of work.
“That is an in-house process and it’s not presupposed to be printed for all the general public to see,” Venugopal instructed reporters in Alappuzha, whereas responding to a question.
Speaking to PTI, the senior chief stated Madhusudan Mistry, who’s the chairman of the Congress’ central election authority, has already given an announcement to the media on this regard.
