A four-storey residential constructing in Jordan’s capital, Amman, has collapsed, trapping a number of individuals, based on witnesses and native media stories.

Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh and senior members of the federal government have been seen on the website on Tuesday as a significant rescue operation was beneath option to evacuate individuals caught beneath the particles.

The constructing is situated in Weibdeh, a witness advised Al Jazeera. The neighbourhood is understood for its cafes, bars and inventive venues, and is fashionable with expats and locals alike.
