Assam Congress common secretary Kamrul Islam Choudhury on Sunday resigned from the social gathering, terming the state management ”directionless and confused”. Choudhury introduced his resignation in a letter to All India Congress Committee President Sonial Gandhi.
”… The current instability of Congress social gathering in Assam as a result of directionless and confused management of APCC throughout the previous few months has left no cause for me to proceed as a member of INC,” he stated. Choudhury additionally alleged that no motion has been taken in opposition to these MLAs who had cross-voted throughout the not too long ago held presidential election regardless of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee Bhupen Kumar Borah publicly accepting it.
Not taking motion in opposition to the legislators indulging in cross-voting has ”demoralised 1000’s of grassroot staff like me, who’ve given blood and sweat for the social gathering for years”, he stated within the letter.
