Muzaffarnagar:

A driver of an excavator had a slender escape when a bridge over the Ganga Canal in Uttar Pradesh – that was present process demolition – collapsed into the water together with the machine. 

A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, exhibits the excavator stationed on the rickety and slender bridge in Muzaffarnagar district, attempting to demolish the opposite a part of the construction.

Because the machine strikes, the entire bridge crashes into the water and so does the excavator together with its driver.

The driving force was seen operating to security by means of the troubled waters, leaving the automobile the wrong way up within the canal.

He was rescued by the police with the assistance of locals.

Sources say the bridge that collapsed into the water was 100-year-old and the demolition work was being carried out as a part of a venture to widen the Panipat-Khatima Freeway alongside the canal.
