Chief of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, whereas talking on the ground of Rajya Sabha on Thursday, revealed that he has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
He mentioned, “I acquired ED summon, they known as me at 12.30pm. I need to abide by regulation, however is it proper for them to summon when Parliament is in session? Is it proper for Police to gherao residences of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi? We cannot be scared, we’ll combat.”
In response to Kharge’s criticism, Chief of the Home in Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal reiterated that the Centre has nothing to do with it.
He mentioned, “The federal government doesn’t intrude within the work of the regulation enforcement authorities. Maybe throughout their tenure, when their authorities was there, they is likely to be interfering.”
