The devastating hearth which took maintain within the Alicante mountains on August 12 was lastly classed as utterly extinguished 15 days later at 20.30 on Saturday (August 27).
The provincial hearth brigade reported yesterday (Sunday) that the blaze had burned 12,150 hectares of land and had a fringe of 100km.
A spokesman for the service stated that firefighters from completely different administrations and the navy had ‘honoured their occupation’ and ‘between all of us we have been capable of beat this fireplace’.
