A younger lad was injured after leaping toes first off the center rock of the Peñones del Santo in Almuñécar yesterday.
The incident was reported to the emergency, name centre round 18.15h within the night by a number of witnesses to say that the youth had fallen awkwardly, hurting his leg and required medical help.
An ambulance was despatched to the scene in addition to a Guardia Civil patrol and Cruz Roja (The Spanish Crimson Cross).
The sufferer had a fractured leg and as soon as the damage was immobilised he was taken to Hospital Santa Ana in Motril.
