A person was arrested within the downtown space, say Kelowna RCMP, following a weapons report on Friday afternoon.
Police say they have been referred to as to the 1600 block of St. Paul Road round 1:45 p.m., for somebody pointing a doable weapon, which was confirmed through video.
The road was rapidly blocked off and a person was arrested with out incident.
RCMP say the suspect was carrying a duplicate handgun, and that there was no concern for public security.
The road was reopened quickly afterward, with police saying they’ll proceed to research the incident.
