The Ottawa Police Service on Friday night requested public help in finding an 82-year-old man who had gone lacking.

Amadeo Alverado had been final seen close to Shearer Crescent and Kakulu Street in Kanata at about 9 a.m., police stated in a media launch.

He was described as a Hispanic male standing 5 ft 11 inches tall with a medium construct and brief salt-and-pepper hair. He could have been carrying a navy blue button-up shirt with white markings, darkish pants and trainers, and was doubtless carrying a crimson shoulder bag.
