The actress and singer, 60, sang the praises of latest Ariel star Halle Bailey, 22, hailing her efficiency as ‘wonderful’.
‘So thrilled!!! So excited!!!’ Jodie wrote on her Instagram Story, alongside a photograph of Bailey and Little Mermaid director Rob Marshall.
‘Halle, you have been completely wonderful! I’m SO pleased with you and your lovely efficiency as Ariel.
‘It was so great to have fun with your loved ones right here at #d23expo,’ Benson continued. ‘And to the sensible director Rob Marshall…I’m so grateful for our friendship of over 35 years. Thanks for creating such a surprising movie!!!’
