Mocking Liz Truss, BBC’s Nick Robinson hit again: “Yeah, borrowing tons of cash.”

BBC’s Robinson fired again, asking: “Will borrowing billions of kilos, you say over £30billion improve or lower inflation?”

Ms Truss retorted: “My tax cuts will lower inflation.”

Mr Robinson interjected: “Actually? You do not level to a single Chancellor or a single Governor of the Financial institution of England, a single main economist who thinks that chopping taxes with borrowed cash does something aside from improve inflation.

Ms Truss hit again: “Patrick Minford. He is written an article about it this weekend.”
