Vancouver police consider an assault on a 19-year-old girl strolling downtown Tuesday morning might have been racially motivated.
At 9:50 a.m., police mentioned the Asian girl was strolling close to Dunsmuir and Cambie streets when a person she didn’t know hit her over the again of the top with a pole. The suspect used a racial slur, then fled the realm as he continued making offensive feedback, police added.
